Strategy. Creative. Web Development.
After starting at the Web Development Group, also know as WDG, I was tasked with rebuilding the company website. The goal of the project was to give the site a visual update while providing more flexibility for authoring content moving forward. As the majority of our projects are in WordPress (we also have a strong Drupal practice) we moved forward in WordPress.
For this project I built the entire website, both the front-end and back-end. Using the WPTimber theme as a starting point and an early version of our theme that incorporates it (built by some other incredibly talented developers at WDG) I was able to build a flexible and robust system of layouts.
The WDG website allows our authors to write blog posts, add new work to the portfolio and create stand alone pages with ease. Over the years since the site launched we’ve added new layouts and features as needed. Another website I’m proud of being a part of.
