Less is more because I over nested my selectors.

The ABET website was one of the first sites that I used a CSS Preprocessor on and all I can say is I’m sorry I over used nesting (I mean it). On this site I used LESS, though I have since switched to SASS. Unfortunately I was still coding things using IDs as the selector at the time. Like most newbies to the CSS Preprocessor scene I got caught up in the coolness factor of nesting and wound up with code that is overly specific.

I think this site was a good learning experience for me. I’ve since stopped using IDs for CSS, though I still include them for JavaScript hooks. I also make a point to not over nest my selectors, I’m all about combining the benefits of CSS Preprocessors with well written code.
